Ms. Goldfarb has over a decade of experience in both civil and criminal litigation and currently focuses her practice on healthcare litigation, white-collar criminal defense, and investigations. She has significant trial experience in complex criminal cases that required the analysis and trial presentation of scientific and medical evidence. She now applies these skills in representing medical professionals and hospitals in matters ranging from claims of medical malpractice to allegations of violations of the federal False Claims Act. In addition to her work in healthcare matters, Ms. Goldfarb represents individuals and corporate organizations with respect to government investigations. She also handles civil litigation in defense of claims of personal injury.

Ms. Goldfarb began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney at the Allegheny County Office of District Attorney in the Child Abuse Unit. During her time there, she successfully prosecuted over 30 jury trials in addition to a multitude of non-jury trials involving matters of physical and sexual assault of children as well as homicide.

Ms. Goldfarb then transitioned to civil litigation, where she began representing clients in defense of claims of medical malpractice and toxic torts. She also represented corporate clients in landlord/tenant issues and handled guardianship and electroconvulsive therapy petitions on behalf of healthcare clients. Her civil practice has also included the representation of corporate employees during investigations both as targets and as witnesses.
