Samuel Beaver focuses his practice on both criminal and civil litigation. This includes the full scope of state and federal criminal matters, along with civil litigation involving healthcare. His recent experience involved service as Assistant District Attorney in the Office of District Attorney for Westmoreland County. In that role he handled hundreds of active cases, regularly representing the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in court, including numerous trials. He also worked closely with law enforcement, on investigations and resulting prosecutions, including investigators and officers from the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General, Pennsylvania State Police, and local police departments.
Mr. Beaver has a strong interest in public service. While a student at Duquesne University School of Law, he earned a Public Interest Law Association Scholarship. He also participated in Duquesne’s nationally recognized Trial Advocacy Program. He has previous experience while a law student providing volunteer legal services to the underserved. His practical training also included an internship with the District Attorney’s office in Armstrong County, as well as service as a law clerk with a private criminal defense firm.
Mr. Beaver’s dedication, persistence, and leadership qualities are further evidenced by the earning of his Eagle Scout Award, an achievement of the highest honor. He is committed to further striving for excellence in trial advocacy, developing strategies to best assist and benefit his clients.
